Adoption Update: Jase

“My husband Keith and I decided long ago shelter pets and dogs in need were the only kind for us. Usually we adopt senior dogs but, every once in a while a young one like our Jase slips in. We lost our beloved Smokey 5 months earlier after 13 1/2 yrs. and we were still grieving. Keith saw Jase on the shelter website and he knew immediately Jase belonged with us. Sadly, another family made plans to meet him before us. We were 2nd in line. I thought for sure we missed out on him – he was so sweet & handsome & loveable – who wouldn’t want him. I fell in love with him after 5 mins in Michelle’s driveway. Well, I guess it’s more about them choosing us – because as fate would have it, Jase wasn’t a good fit for family #1 so we, family #2 (he joined a Beagle sister) got to bring him home and love him forever. What has Jase taught us – even in your saddest of days, a dog can always make it better.” Abby & Keith Kopac
