When you are interested in adopting a pet, you will be asked to fill out a pre-adoption application that will assist us in matching you with a pet that would best suit your lifestyle. Additionally, you will need to provide identification (driver’s license) and proof that you may have a pet at your residence (lease, mortgage statement, or tax bill). You must be at least 18 years of age in order to adopt a pet.
Adoption Fees
Adoption fees allow us to recoup some of our medical expenses as we prepare pets for their forever homes.
Our Dogs
Puppies (under 1 year old) — $520
Adult dogs (1 year and up) — $400
All dogs and puppies include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, 4DX Snap testing (screens for 7 vector-borne pathogens across four major diseases: Heartworm, Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichiosis), monthly flea & tick preventative, deworming, and a martingale collar. Senior pets also include a senior blood panel.
These services would typically cost in excess of $800 at a private vet.
Pets also go home with a supply of the food they’ve been receiving at the shelter to maintain a consistent diet as they adjust to their new home.
Our Cats
Kittens (under 1 year) — $225
Cats (over 1 year) — $175
