The Animal Welfare Association operates New Jersey's first mobile spay/neuter clinic van. Twice a week the van and it's crew of veterinarian and technician travel to the City of Camden to spay and neuter animals for the residents. In addition, the van is often invited to area humane organizations to perform spay/neuter surgeries on shelter animals at a discounted cost. Inside, the van is a fully functional surgical suite.  Open to Camden residents only.  See the above link for schedule.

The Hudson County Animal League,

(201) 200-1008 offers subsidized fees up to $50 for medical services for hardship cases and will also pay for spay/neuter.

Bills ranging from $50 to $150 are subject to approval by the League's medical coordinator, with those more than $150 requiring the approval of board members. The League has a low-cost spay/neuter certificate that is accepted by eight veterinary clinics in Bayonne, Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City and North Bergen
